As a Senior Associate in a Deal advisory function at KPMG, I am mainly involved in various Infrastructure Advisory assignments for a Public sector. This involves transaction advisory services i.e. carrying out financial feasibility study, project framework study, procurement doucments preparation, issuance of finalized RFPs, evaluation of bids and issuance and drafting of final reports.I have also been involved in Due deligence exercises, Business valuations & feasibility study as part of the Mergers & Acquisition and a business expansion plan.Some of the my major transactions at KPMG are:1) Financial and Transaction Advisory to Karachi Port Trust for the procurement of private party for the design, build, finance, operate and tranfer of the multipurpose cargo terminals.2) Financial and Transaction Advisory to Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority for the outsourcing for its operations to private private party for the effective running, upkeep and maintenance of its three top airports.3) Transaction advisory and Option analysis for Civil aviation authority for the purpose of raising finance to fund the expansion of its major airport.4) Preparation of a detailed financial model to assess the requirement of fund and to analyze options for potential revenue generation for DHA City Karachi Project - Size $1.79 Bn.5) Sell side advisory to MERCK, a Pharmaceutical company for the divestments of its operations.6) Post merger equity valuation of Al Baraka Pakistan Bank Limited after a succesful merger of Burj Bank into Al Baraka Bank.
