About Mohsin Khan

Mohsin is an award-winning Social entrepreneur, Development practitioner & economist. As a founder of TransHelp—leveraging AI and creative art to democratize affordable and quality healthcare and legal aid for marginalized communities. The startup was named one of the top 10 worldwide, and Top 6 in Asia-Pacific for health and civic innovation by Gilead Sciences Inc and Ministry of Economic Affairs Taiwan. In the past, he served in leadership role at KOICA of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, Government of Pakistan, Youth Advocacy Council, and READ Foundation, where he led multimillion aid programs, centered on socio-economic development, civil services (human capital), and institutional reforms in South and Southeast Asia and Africa. He has also served as Inaugural Advisory mentor to Queen's Young Leaders at the University of Cambridge & Queen's Elizbeth Diamond Jubilee Trust, CIVICUS's Global Solidarity Fund, to steer strategic, capacity development and policy initiatives, and currently advising several social enterprises and nonprofits, including Good Thinkers, SecurityWall.Co, SEED Spot, and Grateful Giving USA among other. In addition, serving as an adjunct faculty member at NUML's Department of Governance and Public Policy in Islamabad, he has imparted policy-related courses to Master of Public Policy (MPP) and undergraduate students and aims to train over 10,000 Girls on Ethical Hacking. Mohsin has approval for US "Alien with Extraordinary Abilities" visa, and earned other national and international awards for his work including the NUMUN Feminist-tech Grant, the Global Ambassador Fellowship by KDI School of Public Policy and Management, South Korea, the Young Leaders Fellowship by Asia-Europe Foundation & Moller Institute UK, Public Diplomacy M/O Foreign Affairs, South Korea, DICE Fellowship by British Council, and named Associate Fellow for Royal Commonwealth Society, UK and US Emerging Leader by GreenBiz, & Young Parliamentarian by Asia-Pacific Youth Parliament for Water. As a prose writer and poet, he won National Award for Short Story Competition at the age of 19, and author of several policy, technical reports and research articles, focusing on examining the intersectionality of socioeconomic, environmental, and racial inequality, and behavioral economics, and developing community-led advocacy toolkits, policies, and programs to address them. He hold Ph.D. in Development Studies, Master in Development Policy (Economics), MSc. (Hons) in Rural Development and BSc, (Hons) in Genetics Engineering.

    Research work under the supervision of Prof.Dr. Hidayat-Ur-Rehman Dept. of plant Breeding and genetics in Malakandar Form on maize variety Sarhad White. Title of the research “Evaluation Of Test Crosses For Grain Yield And Morphological Traits In Maize Variety Sarhad White”.Abstract: The reaerch was carried out at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Agricultural University Peshawar during crop season year 2010 with the objectives to evaluate maize inbred lines derived from maize variety Sarhad White for grain yield and morphological traits and identifying superior inbred lines based on test cross performance. Test crosses were evaluated in replicated trial along with two tester, one check and 16 parental inbred lines for comparison in a 7×7 partially balanced lattice square design with two replications. Data were recorded on 50% tasseling, silking, pollen sheding, anthesis silking interval (ASI), ear height, plant height, ear length and grain yield. Results revealed highly significant differences among the genotypes for most of the traits. Non significant differences were, however, observed among the genotypes for grain yield (kgha-1).
