I am Mohsin Tariq, residing in Mirpur, Azad Kashmir, a region marked by its disputed status and limited opportunities. Currently pursuing International Relations at Mirpur University of Science and Technology, I have consistently maintained high academic standards while actively participating in both curricular and co-curricular activities such as football and fitness training.My journey took a transformative turn when I attended the COP event organized by Youth4Climate at the National University of Science and Technology, Islamabad. This exposure ignited my passion for addressing climate change, a pressing global issue intersecting with my field of study, international relations. Eager to delve deeper, I sought out educational avenues, including Movers Workshops and YOUNGO, to broaden my understanding of climate-related concepts and initiatives.Driven by a desire for tangible impact, I mobilized a group of like-minded individuals to raise awareness and take practical steps toward combating climate change in our community. Currently, I lead a research project with Muslim Hands focusing on clean drinking water availability and waterborne diseases in Mirpur. Additionally, I actively contribute to the Solid Waste Management program initiated by Muslim Hands.With a fervent commitment to leveraging my skills and knowledge, I am determined to make meaningful contributions to the field of climate change mitigation and adaptation. I eagerly await opportunities to demonstrate my capabilities and make a positive impact, aspiring to make those who support me proud.
