As a MEP Manager, engaged in comprehensive project management activities at Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh, KSA, encompassing both pre-contract and post-contract phases. Major responsibilities included: Defining project parameters, drafting project scope, developing RFPs and ITTs, evaluating bidders’ proposals, conducting design reviews, overseeing project execution upon award, and ensuring successful project closure. Develop comprehensive project plans delineating scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for MEP systems, cold rooms, and commercial kitchen equipment. Collaborate with clients, designers, consultants, and contractors to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables. Establish and maintain project schedules, ensuring the timely completion of the project. Evaluate MEP designs for compliance with the project requirements, providing feedback to clients and design teams. Implement quality control measures to ensure all MEP work meets industry standards and project specifications. Assess and manage changes in scope or design, evaluating their impact on project costs and timelines. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and ensure compliance with project requirements. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, including progress reports, budget updates, and risk assessments. Organize and lead project meetings with stakeholders to discuss progress, challenges, and next steps. Proactively identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project delivery. Address and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines. Oversee the finalization of MEP systems, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate for handover to the client. Conduct post-project evaluations to assess performance, gather lessons learned, and identify areas for improvement.

Reviewed and supervised all mechanical works for one of the key project of KSA "𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐢𝐲𝐚𝐝𝐡".Major responsibilities included: -  Detailed designing, review and supervision of Building Services Systems (HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, Irrigation, Elevators, Water Basins & Features including Water Treatment System, Sand Filters, Water Softeners, Chemical Dosing and Monitoring Systems, Fog System, Fuel System, Building Maintenance Unit and Leakage Detection etc.) of various ongoing projects including drawings, design calculations, equipment schedules, technical submittals, material approvals, project’s schedules, field inspections, installation, testing and commissioning as per relevant drawings and technical specifications.- Handling technical, financial, and contractual matters of the project.- Streamlining and processing of various contractual documents such as review of Technical Submittals, Shop/ General Arrangement Drawings & Work Breakdown Structure/ Working Schedule, verification of work done claimed in Invoices/ IPAs, scrutiny of Variation Orders, Progress Reports, Letters, etc.- Coordination and correspondence with Project Manager involved Client, Contractors, Employer’s Rep. and other stakeholders involved in the designing and supervision of above works in the project.- Preparation of balanced works checklist during execution and Punch list prior to issuance of completion certificate.- Verification of contractor’s Invoices/ IPCs and complete record keeping of the financial status of the project including bank guarantees.- Preparing progress reports.- Reviewing, streamlining, and processing of Project Closeout Requirements including Punch List, As-Built Drawings, Warranties, Guarantees, Test Record Books, O&M Manuals, Part Data Package, Inventory Lists, Approved Submittals, List of Manufacturers & Suppliers, Systems Asset Register, Training to the Client’s Staff and Handing Over Certificates.

Major responsibilities included: - Preparation of Design Criteria, Project Execution Plan and Quality Assurance Plan for Building Services Works such as HVAC, Elevators, Fire Fighting, and Plumbing Works, etc. and Solarized Tube-wells for Public Health and Irrigation Purposes.- Planning, detailed designing and evaluation of aforementioned works in various ongoing projects in the current division including preparation of drawings, load calculations, selection of equipment, duct and pipe sizing, BOQ, Engineer’s Estimate, technical specifications, bidding documents, arranging and conducting pre-bid meeting and preparation of evaluation reports (technical and financial)- Handling the Technical, Financial, and Contractual matters of the projects.- Streamlining and processing of various contractual documents related to building services such as review of Technical Submittals, Shop/ General Arrangement Drawings & Work Breakdown Structure/ Working Schedule, verification of work done claimed in IPAs, scrutiny of Variation Orders.- Coordination and correspondence with Project Manager, Resident Engineer, involved Contractors, Employer’s rep. and entire divisions involved in the designing of above-mentioned works in the project.- Conducting detailed inspections including testing & commissioning of mechanical systems and preparing detailed inspection reports.- Preparation of balanced works checklist during execution and Punch list prior to issuance of completion certificate to the Contractor.- Visiting ongoing projects as per instruction of the concerned Project Manager, conducting on-site meetings with Client & Contractor and preparation of detailed site’s visit reports.- Verification of contractor’s IPC’s and complete record keeping of the financial status of the project including bank guarantees.- Preparing weekly and monthly progress reports.

Major responsibilities included: - Detailed designing and drafting of HVAC Systems involving cooling/heat load calculations, selection of equipment duct and pipe routing, and preparation of drawing and specification.- Detailed HVAC designing and drafting of commercial and office buildings.- Designing and drafting of localized and centralized Fire Fighting Systems (Standpipe, Sprinkler Systems.- Designing and drafting of Plumbing Systems (Water Supply, Sanitary Drainage, Storm Water Drainage, Rain Water Harvesting and Natural Gas Supply).- Designing and drafting of Site Plans/ External Building Services Works i.e Plumbing, Firefighting, Chilled Water, Irrigation, Fuel Systems. - Preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and Engineer’s Estimates.- Top and detailed Supervision of complete HVAC systems, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, Elevators, and associated electrical works etc. including commercial, institutional and residential buildings.- Vetting and review of outsourced designing.- Preparation of Design Criteria and Quality Assurance Plan for the mentioned services.- Preparation of Project Execution Plan. Updating weekly and monthly progress reports.- Coordination with site/ office staff regarding the project.- Handling Technical, Financial, and Contractual matters of the projects as MEP Engineer comprising all such Building Services Works as HVAC, Elevators, Fire Fighting, and Plumbing Works.- Acting as a mediator between engineering, maintenance, and outside contractors.- Visiting ongoing projects as per instruction of concerned Project Manager, conducting on-site meetings with Client & Contractor and preparation of detailed site visit’s report for further necessary action.- Conducting detailed inspections including testing & commissioning of aforementioned building services systems as per requirements and preparation of detailed inspection reports for onward submission.
