Everyone has a story to tell. What’s my story, you might ask? Well, let me tell you. Born and raised in India, I built a successful career working in my country’s film and television industries. My thirst for knowledge and exploration led me all over the world, allowing me to develop a personal appreciation for the diversity of places, cultures, and individuals. In 2001, I made a life-changing decision: I moved from India to the United States. Deciding to further develop my filmmaking knowledge and skills, I enrolled at Georgia State University, pursuing an MFA in Media Production and Filmmaking.After graduation, I had the opportunity to work as an editor on numerous projects, as well as to assist with various short film productions throughout Atlanta. Having two children, however, made it difficult to work long hours on film sets. Wanting to spend more time with my children and focus on my family, I changed the trajectory of my career. Time spent on set turned into time spent freelancing, editing documentaries, and working as an adjunct faculty member at the Art Institute of Atlanta.
