Having spent over 35 years navigating the world of IT and SAP project management, I find joy in transforming complex challenges into streamlined solutions. My journey began as an Information Technology Developer at British Airways, where I honed my technical skills before moving through various roles that helped me grow into a well-rounded project manager. Every step taught me something new about teamwork, collaboration, and what it takes to lead a successful project. Currently, I'm spearheading a Greenfield SAP S/4 HANA implementation at MARA Technologies. Using the SAP Activate Methodology, I guide my team from the Discovery phase all the way to the Run phase. There's something incredibly rewarding about seeing a project evolve from concept to reality while fostering an environment where every team member can contribute their best work. Throughout my career, I've facilitated major upgrades and transformations across various industries. For instance, during my time at British Airways, I had the opportunity to lead projects that not only saved costs but also improved operational efficiencies. One project alone saved the company over 20% in supplier management costs while enhancing EDI integration processes. I'm dedicated to continuous learning—whether it’s acquiring new SAP skills or understanding emerging methodologies like Agile and Lean.
