Then, proposed an efficient unbiased velocity estimator for cellular-connected UAVs which is dependent on the handover count and the base station density. Successfully calculated optimal 3D trajectory for a UAV acting as a relay in cellular networks considering backhaul constraints, 3D antenna radiation, and different scheduling criteria. Proposed a novel RL-based base station antenna tilting angle optimization framework for providing better QoS to the cellular-connected UAVs. Prepared a short survey and tutorial for NSF-sponsored advanced aerial communication platform AERPAW project. Developed a Q-learning framework for indoor UAV navigation. Recently modeled a deep RL algorithm for UAV navigation in complex and intricate indoor scenarios based on RF signals.Developed a novel 3GPP Rel. 10 based time-domain interference coordination method for mitigating downlink interference for cellular-connected UAVs.
