Finance Manager:Responsible for all financial duties in the company, business analysis and strategy, financial aspects of tendering process, preparation of monthly management and year end accounts on SAGE, liaison with external accountants, payroll (Brightpay), VAT and revenue payments (ROS) debtor / credit control. Project consultancy include: EU application preparation for DCC, DCU & Ballyfermot Partnership. Community Needs Assessments and training, financial analysis on housing strategy.

Northside Partnership: Business & Community Engagement Manager: On this pilot programme I was reporting to the CEO working with Management teams in Local employment & Education. My role was to create employment and training opportunities with local businesses and companies on business, community and employment initiatives, leading to internships, job offers, volunteering and community events• Colaiste Dhulaigh Further Education College: Coordinated with college Principal and course lecturers to prepare and submit Springboard Funding Higher Education Authority, ESF courses grant applications (Successful applications made each year since 2015).

Since 2011 have I held these part-time roles with the St. Stephen’s green philanthropic trust:Grant Round Assessments: Co-ordinated and provide assessments to the Board of trustees for the 2017 National Community Grants round, (Jan -May 2017). Acting Grants & Development Director: Acting assignment to cover sabbatical on behalf of a Director of the Trust for a six-month period, responsible for the management of grants to over 20 organisations involved in Direct Provision and community service. Preparation of management accounts and presentation to the Board of trustees. (Jan-Jun16).Community Grant-writer: (2011-2018) Developed networks with 15 community organisations & schools, connected and engaged them with corporate funders, and philanthropic organisations. I provided these organisations with financial management, governance and financial advice. Established a community/school’s network and coordinated community arts week in Darndale for 3 consecutive years.

Over a 5 year period I held various roles with Concern. I started as a volunteer Finance Accountant in Kenya on the South Sudan emergency programme. Following this I worked part-time in Head office in Dublin preparing management accounts while studying for a Masters Degree. I undertook a number of international audit, finance training assignments to Haiti, Honduras and Uganda. Later I worked as a Desk officer and Provided management support to programme operations, Regional and Country Directors and in-country staff in several overseas locations. Financial management accounts preparation, financial training and audits in Uganda, Haiti and Honduras. Planned, monitored, evaluated & reported on overseas programmes in Haiti, Honduras, Kosovo, Serbia and North Korea, involving travel to those regions.

Managed a team of three in Capital Accounting responsible for monthly accounts, year-end, systems implementation working with Israeli/ US teams. Irish Team Leader on Systems Stock implementation programme working with Latin America and US.

3 years Accountant training in Audit (small and large companies, Profit and not for profit sectors) and Accounts Preparation, ACCA qualified accountant 1991.
