After a career in teaching of almost ten years, followed by a break to concentrate on bringing up family, I changed direction and qualified as a Paralegal in Wills and Executry work and took on this role within McVey and Murricane Solicitors, being responsible for heading up the department. The organisational skills developed during my teaching career proved to be invaluable when developing new systems of working within the department. I became a Law Society of Scotland Registered Paralegal in 2011, soon after scheme was introduced.
