• Communicates with U.S counterparts, internal and external contacts through e-mail, Webex session and video conferences• Assists attorney editors and U.S. counterparts on production tasks• Publishing: Performs duties such as analyzing (HTML & XML), keying, converting, coding, copy reading, editing, merging, rendering, loading, or validation of data in Westlaw and print products • Content acquisition: Duties include acquisition of manuscripts or core content, analysis of manuscripts and electronic files, coding (mark-up of data) and resolving coding errors, manuscript editing, compiling and editing of content, proofreading and copy reading, quality control and verification • Daily monitoring and gathering of legal and business content from the web and determining which are important to clients• Writing: creates a summary of the material and assigns key words from a taxonomy and uploading to the CMS tool Current Awareness• Creates and updates manuals to ensure uniformity of steps and procedures• Training: trains new hires/junior staffs to different workflows and jurisdiction specifics. Provides hands-on and classroom trainings. • Participates in cross-functional meetings for collaboration as required• Participates in decision-making and prioritization for production schedules and processes • Organizes and facilitates team meetings and represents team on task forces and proactively communicates to and influences others • Assists team manager on administrative tasks (productivity and quality reports)• Ensures completeness, proper structure, and functionality for multiple products• Responsible for routine troubleshooting system and/or data problems• Provides escalated support in workflow processes • Possesses expert knowledge of production processes and reviews processes to identify, coordinate and implement improvements to products/processes/workflows• Leads product enhancement or process improvement projects• Manages deadlines without supervision
