Worked independently to find scholarly primary and secondary sources related to the humanities and science literature for Dr. Rocío Gomez. Maintained Google Excel databases, proofread drafts, and transcribed interviews. Correctly formatted and cited references in writing. Demonstrated an expertise in library research.

I registered students and young people to vote ahead of the 2020 election and got out the vote for local, regional, and national elections. I also managed, trained and recruited a team of volunteers and delegated tasks ranging from canvassing, phonebanking and social media outreach.

I networked with local businesses, organizations, and student group to push climate policy in the region of Richmond, Virginia and managed data and spreadsheets for outreach.

In this position I distributed classroom materials and supplies such as pencils, paper and art materials, prepared bulletin boards, classroom materials and individual student portfolios to support teacher plans and supervised 30 students during lunch hour and before and after class during pickup/drop-off.

At this job I translated brochures into French, organized files and input files into digital versions, attended meetings in the social services office and became informed on issues of Domestic Abuse, Human Trafficking, Sexual and Domestic Violence, and Immigration. My work assisted lawyers as they advocated for clients' best interest in school settings, at juvenile court and in other systems that interface with clients and family.

I assisted the office with daily tasks related to Bethesda Greens B Corps initiatives and promoted sustainability in the community. I lead a spring conservation project culminating in a Youth Forum on Climate Change for which I did outreach, promotion, and various other planning tasks.
