I am a junior at Wheaton College (MA), majoring in Digital Media and Communications and double minoring in English and Journalism. In the fall of my first year, I joined The Wheaton Wire, a student-run newspaper publication on campus. For the past two years, I have been The Wire's design/layout editor and will move on to the position of managing editor this fall. During the summer of 2023, I interned at Penobscot Bay Press, where my duties included reporting work, page layout and design, copy editing, research, contract witnessing, and support work for book publications. I became a full-time employee for them during the following winter break from college and have continued my role with them during this summer of 2024. In 2023, I received a Guy P. Gannett scholarship, which supports students from Maine pursuing a career in Journalism. I have successfully renewed my scholarship with them for the 2024-2025 academic year. I am now currently studying abroad in London through Boston University and am enrolled in the journalism internship program.
