I implemented communication interfaces for the world´s leading hospitality software: OPERA Cloud Services. I worked on Micros most ambitious project: converting the PMS (Property Management System) on major hotel accounts. Having assigned the USA, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean as action field, my main task were:* To listen client´s needs and convert them into technical requirements for hardware and software implementation. * Responsible for planning and performing configuration, installation and system training of the interfaces between the Opera PMS and all the property communication devices. * To implement onsite and remote testing, before and after system switch over. In order to ensure communication reliability for real time applications. * Scheduling and optimization of hotels resources, as well as external vendors in order to achieve a successful software conversion. * Level 2 techincal support for clients whose case affected their optimal operation. Troubleshooting via the phone and WebEx; hardware, software, and network operating problems that involved technical resources to ensure resolution. * To coordinate and execute special corporate projects and systems upgrades.

Based on the international optic fiber communication standards, I developed engineering implementations to improve the automation lines quality and capability.My main tasks were: products qualification, processes transfer, processes documentation and support to production / quality department as well as providing leadership and guidance to techs and trainers from the automation area. I applied my knowledge on PLCs, robotics computer vision and interface communication. I also leaded the transference of products for Corning’s major customer.
