Currently, I am a Graduate Research Assistant for the University of Tennessee, Knoxville's (UTK) Tickle College of Engineering, specifically for the Department of Industrial Systems and Engineering (ISE). My area of research is in Optimization. Recent work was in the field of Integer Programming and Graph Theory.While studying UTK's ISE department and working on my dissertation, I developed technical expertise in Python, AMPL and Gurobi programming. I have recently worked with IBM's Qiskit and studied Quantum Algorithms. My bachelor’s degree is in Mathematics from Lee University (Cleveland, TN), where I was fortunate to be advised by Dr. Gladden. I developed an understanding in Pure Mathematics and Math Education. Highlights in my undergraduate career include Cross Country and Track and Field Conference victories. As well as, courses in Real Analysis, Calculus, Modern Algebra, Differential Equations, and Mathematical Probability.
