Master degree in Biomedical Engineering in the field of Medical Electronics, year: 2009.I started my biomedical career on Bobamed - Equipamentos Médicos, Lda., in year 2008. Where I preformed all type of tasks related to the installation of medical devices (hardware and software). In that time I improved my knowledge in neuroscience, equipment repair,after-sales support and research.Liaising closely with doctors and therapists in the Neurophysiology Department at the "Hospital de S. João" (Porto, Portugal), "Hospital S. Antonio", "Hospital Santa Maria" and other Hospitals.Two years as Business Consultant in Innovation and Internationalization for Vantagem Principal - Consultoria para os negócios, Lda. Where I manage and advise the creation of projects for all kinds of industry and Services companies.Specialties: - Product development and Innovation. - Construction and setting all kinds of hardware, ability to repair electronic systems at the component level. Easily adapt to new equipment. Strong knowledge in the functionality of PC hardware & software and networking.- Internationalization and Innovation. - QREN/COMPETE projects.In the year 2015 I started in the School of Psychology of University of Minho. My main responsibilities were:- Support laboratories: Neuropsychophysiology, Learning Laboratory, Laboratory of Animal Behavior and Human Cognition Laboratory;- Support the Center's research projects involving work with electronic and biomedical equipment;- Support data collection process: preparation of electronic and biomedical equipment (eg EEG, MRI, fNIRS, physiological equipment);- Maintenance of the Centre's equipment for research and coordination with suppliers;- Support the design and implementation of new experimental paradigms;- Training of personnel in the use of electronic and biomedical equipment.
