My professional journey begins at University of Madras when I was exposed to budding Neuroscience its increasing demand and advancement in decoding the ultimate organ of our body, THE BRAIN. I did an extensive study on ischemic stroke in my project which also gave me clinical aspects of the brain apart from the research. My aching desire to work in the state of the art lab landed me to IASST Guwahati, a DST funded chief research institute where I was honed with team spirit coupled with nurture and management of science for a brief period following which I joined NIMHANS, the plinth of Neuroscience in India. I currently wish to explore the area of molecular neuroscience along with the applied aspects of psychopharmacology, which ultimately brings out the behavioural phenotype.Apart from being a bioscience intoxicant I like to keep literature and history at the back of my mind which provides surmount satisfaction and balances my social life.
