Regularly convene the ClimatePlan network in policy and issue-focused workgroups, as well as convene local, on-the-ground network partners in the regional contexts of Sacramento and San Diego. Co-hosted the first (since the pandemic) full-network in-person convening with 50 partner organization attendees in Oakland for a day-long campaign planning session. Circulate to the ClimatePlan network and support advocacy efforts at the state and local level.

Advance ClimatePlan's policy priorities and support legislative advocacy, including testifying to committees of the CA state legislature with Assembly author of co-sponsored bill.

Curated a regular newsletter to the ClimatePlan network, developed e-blasts & calls to action, edited & publicized press releases, created advocacy toolkits and graphics, managed social media, published organization and partner blogs on the ClimatePlan website, and organized and hosted webinars.Established a monthly convening of, and co-facilitated, meetings for the Sacramento Environmental Justice Collaborative Governance Committee, bringing in guest speakers including local government staff and community experts. Developed and maintained a record of notes and meeting recordings.

As Program Director helped 350 Sacramento transition and scale up from an organization with only 1 employee (self), by recruiting, hiring, and onboarding a staff team of 4 part-time employees. •Supported and worked with team members, volunteers, and community partners to design, fund, develop, promote, and implement new programs - including air filter workshops, community trainings, and youth programming. •Supported Board of Directors and staff team members in agenda-setting, convening, facilitating, and guiding direction of regular staff meetings.•Helped hire/place, coach, and develop projects with student interns/fellows.•Represented organization in coalition partnerships, speaking engagements, interviews, communication with elected and local government officials, and public forums & public comment.•Developed standard operating procedures (SOP), recorded trainings and instructions, created an onboarding packet, and helped create and document organizational processes.

Program Coordinator at 350 Sacramento. As the first and only staff member at this grassroots environmental nonprofit I manage our operations as an organization to: (1) support the advocacy, campaigns, and event planning of our volunteer teams, (2) recruit, onboard, coach, and coordinate new volunteers, (3) expand our advocacy by developing and operating new programs like our Student Environmental Activist Training, and (4) develop relationships with our local partners across various movements for social change. Established, convened, developed trainings & agendas for, and facilitated (a) monthly Leadership Council meetings for key organization volunteers, as well as (b) multiple organization-wide annual strategic planning leadership retreats.

Ensured the continued operation of 350 Sacramento events and programs as all grassroots volunteer activity and 350 Sacramento operations transitioned to virtual coordination in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Wrote an annual holiday appeal fundraising letter and implemented printing and distribution to the entire organizational member base.

Assisted the Mayors' Commission on Climate Change in organizing youth and community engagement. Organized and hosted both the University Student Summit on Climate Change and High School Student Summit on Climate Change, gathering feedback on climate policy recommendations from over 350 high school, college and university students. Participated in Equity Technical Advisory Committee meetings and participated in drafting recommendations for the MCCC to submit to the Cities of Sacramento and West Sacramento.Helped develop the City of Sacramento's December 2019 Climate Emergency Declaration in stakeholder meetings with local advocates and nonprofit organizations.Organized a calendar of 50 community events to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day for the City of Sacramento's Earth Month in April 2020, prior to cancellation in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Worked directly with Dr. Michelle Stevens and her Restoration Ecology class from Sacramento State University to facilitate and supervise the implementation of student plant experiments at the Bushy Lake wildlife refuge. Facilitated multiple full-length class sessions. Conducted original research over multiple years in the development of an Undergraduate senior thesis for the Environmental Studies Department at Sacramento State University.
