Process Engineer
CurrentAs a Process Engineer at TDE, I am actively involved in the construction and pre-commissioning phases of a GDU project in the oil and gas sector. My role focuses on supporting the transition from construction to commissioning, ensuring readiness for plant start-up. Key responsibilities include:- Assisting with pre-commissioning activities such as leak testing, flushing, and pressure safety system reviews (PSSR) to ensure all systems meet operational and safety standards before full commissioning.- Collaborating with construction teams to monitor the progress of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation installations, ensuring proper alignment with P&IDs and project specifications.- Supporting punch list resolution by identifying incomplete or non-conforming installations and working with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.- Reviewing technical documentation and performing system walk-downs to verify that installations meet the required safety and operational standards.- Contributing to daily site progress reports, tracking the status of construction and pre-commissioning activities, and ensuring that all tasks are aligned with project timelines.- Maintaining adherence to HSE protocols during all phases of work, contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.I am gaining valuable experience in preparing plant systems for safe and efficient commissioning and start-up.
