I received my PhD in Electrical Engineering in 1996 and have more than 20 years industry experience delivering major software capabilities to solve engineering problems and simplify workflows. I value professional development and growth, which led me to join the MIT System Design and Management (SDM) program in 2016, which I completed in Feb. 2018. SDM is a professional program in engineering and management and is jointly offered by MIT’s School of Engineering and the MIT Sloan School of Management. As a SDM fellow, I learned more about new technologies, effective and systematic ways to apply system thinking, system engineering, and strategic leadership for building large complex systems in large teams and organizations.I have a proven record of hiring, training and managing high performing software development teams. I led the development of component-based modeling in Simulink. This capability had major impact in modeling, simulation and code generation of large scale systems in Simulink and improving multi-team workflows in aerospace and automotive industries. It resulted in major market growth of MathWorks products.I am passionate about continuous process improvement to achieve the highest levels of productivity for project teams and development organizations.
