As a senior technology and analytics executive with years of global experience, my central skills are attracting talent and helping them develop groundbreaking solutions that improve business and financial outcomes. I’ve spent my career at the intersection of business and technology because I love nothing more than solving business challenges by applying the right teams and technologies. My leadership style centers on inspiring people with a clear vision for change and encouraging teams to do their best through inclusion and collaboration. Growing up in six different countries gave me a lot of resiliency and adaptability, something you need as a leader in the tech world. Mentoring the next generation of executives, especially those crossing cultures, is also essential to my leadership style. That’s why I founded Travelers’ internal professional group EmpowHER+, focused on enhancing the careers of women in technology and operations with the help of allies. I’m also the executive sponsor of the company’s partnerships with nonprofits Girls Who Code and AnitaB.org, and was one of the founding members of T200, a tech peer community with a mission to foster, celebrate and advance women’s leadership in tech. I received the 2024 BostonCIO ORBIE Award in the Super Global category. I have also been honored as a member of the 2022 CIO Hall of Fame and 2021 Forbes CIO Next list as one of the world’s 50 most innovative enterprise technology leaders. I was recognized as a Women in Insurance Leadership honoree and named one of the Women to Watch in Science and Technology by the Boston Business Journal. I was also elected to the Board of Directors of Unum Group, an international provider of workplace benefits and services, in July 2023. In addition to my work in technology, I lecture at the MIT Sloan School of Business and have spoken at several prominent conferences, including the Simmons Leadership Conference, Harvard Business School’s Dynamic Women in Business, The Economist’s Commercialising Quantum, and the Forbes CIO Summit.
