I am the CEO and PI (Product Innovator) at Pod Chocolates. Pod Chocolates are Nigerian Chocolate Makers transforming locally sourced cocoa beans into silky smooth chocolates made without preservatives. We are passionate about cocoa value addition and product innovation, and as such, we created the first ever Zobo (hibiscus) chocolate in Nigeria. We also created a Plantain Firecracker bar that infuses our local plantain chips and yaji pepper in chocolate. We want to ensure every product we create tells a unique story of our history and culture as Nigerians, and we hope to create more unique products derived from cocoa.

I am responsible for giving creative direction for bakery operations, forecasting and planning monthly activities, reviewing financial statements and developing marketing and advertising strategies for higher sales and increased customer acquisition.

Running all aspects of a home bakery for maximum profitability. From taking customer orders over the phone, ensuring timely delivery of all orders, inventory and procurement to record keeping and financial reconciliation.
