We sell sports fan products on the web (primarily acrylic display cases for sports memorabilia, Fatheads and football helmets). We design, manufacture and sell unique, high-quality display cases direct to the consumer at an affordable price.The company has recently moved into a warehouse/office/retail facility in Stafford County Virginia and operates under the name "Better Display Cases." We now have four employees. What follows is what we used to do although our primary focus now is really on developing the display case business described above.Previously we published websites and e-books in sports, legal, finance, recreation and local niches. We also sell products (primarily sports fan merchandise) on the web.My role has included: Internet Strategy -- conducted internet market analysis; created strategic plan to take advantage of market opportunities; and implemented the plan utilizing advanced SEO/SEM techniques, including link-building and content marketing, to grow qualified traffic to various websites.Tracked and measured growth using comprehensive and verifiable metrics. Web Writer/Blogger – wrote and/or edited thousands of web pages while developing www.secsportsfan.com; www.best-all-time.com; www.free-living-trust-information.com; www.estate-planning-hub.com; and www.pwcva.com. Created, or directed creation, of over 5,000 multimedia web pages, optimized for targeted keywords. Managed all aspects of business including soliciting and negotiating advertising sales as well as handling accounts receivable and payable. Also trained, motivated and supervised many contract employees, freelancers and volunteer writers. Grew traffic to websites from 0 to well over 1 million page views a year. Achieved a 20% average annual revenue growth.

Company publishes sports websites and e-books.Acquired and developed www.sectalk.com into a leading internet sports fan community. Developed social media presence with over 10,000 “likes,” “followers” and “fans.” Acquired and developed www.thebestsportsblog.com into a high quality sports content network that now includes five additional partner websites. As of December 2012, we have seen traffic grow from 800,000 (when we began the company) to over 5 million page views a year. We turned unprofitable websites into profitable ones.

Various legal jobs around the world, including prosecutor, defense attorney, claims attorney, tax and estate planning attorney and labor attorney. Several of these jobs were supervisory. Served combat tour in Iraq; earned a Bronze Star.
