• Developing a road map to resilient buildings and healthy and welcoming housing for newcomers (immigrants) to Quebec and Canada • Assisting in ‘Solution Lab’ initiatives, facilitating discussions, and communicating with multi sectoral partners• Prepare reports and deliverables of the project and ‘Solution Labs’ and produce (web) contents • Present, publish and popularize the project outcome with infographic schemes for diverse audiences, readers, and users

• Review and publish major limitations in addressing urban heat islands and climate changes through urban climate maps, development policies and action plans• Study fundamentals of building science, building enclosure design, thermal building simulation, fluid mechanics, and sustainable cities infrastructure modeling and simulation• Instruct and demonstrate set-ups and experiments of building science laboratories

• Develop design projects and review documents, models, sketches in Autodesk Revit AutoCAD, 3DS Max, SketchUp, Adobe creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)• Liaise with contractors, sub-consultants, and engineering disciplines to develop design projects• Supervise construction projects and conduct site reviews and activities• Report the status of projects and issues to peers, chief-managers, and clients
