چالش‌ های نوآوری و فناوری نانو یکی از برنامه های مشترک کارگروه‌های «صنعت و بازار» ، «توسعه فناوری» و «ترویج و آموزش» ستاد ویژه توسعه فناوری نانو (وابسته به معاونت علمی و فناوری ریاست جمهوری) است که می‌کوشد مشکلات بنگاه‌های صنعتی یا نیازهای فناورانه صنایع مختلف کشور را از طریق جلب مشارکت پژوهشگران و فناوران کشور برطرف نماید.به زبان تخصصی مدیریت فناوری، چالش‌ های فناوری و نوآوری نانو یک پلت‌فرم «نوآوری باز» است که تلاش می‌کند ظرفیت‌های بالقوه یا بالفعل کشور در حوزه فناوری نانو را برای غلبه بر چالش‌ های مهم صنعتی و فناورانه کشور بسیج نماید.ماموریت ما جمع‌سپاری مشکلات و چالش‌ های صنعتی و جلب مشارکت پژوهشگران، فناوران و سایر فعالان حوزه فناوری نانو به منظور ارائه ایده‌ها و راه‌حل‌های واقع‌بینانه و اجرایی برای غلبه بر آن‌هاست. چشم‌انداز ما خلق شبکه‌ای از افراد، گروه‌ها و شرکت‌های خلاق و نوآور ایرانی برای توسعه‌ همکاری‌های فناورانه و نوآورانه در سطح ملی و فراملی است.
