Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida Area

• Engage with professional IT candidates as a single point of contact for immigration matters.
• Assist recruiters and other field professionals with immigration related queries in a professional and ethical manner.
• Ensure compliance with established procedures, labor agreements, and applicable laws, including federal immigration laws.
• Assess candidate qualifications from both an IT and immigration perspective, including candidate’s eligibility for new or transferred visas/work authorizations and prior compliance with immigration laws.
• Make independent determinations and recommendations as to which candidates qualify for placement with clients based on IT qualifications and immigration compliance considerations.
• Advise on visa selection, the visa sponsorship process, travel and reentry to the U.S., maintenance of status, visa extension, changes of status, transfer, reinstatement procedures, family-dependent visas, and other.

• Manage the redeployment of candidates rolling off assignment.
• Assess skill levels and technical expertise of the candidates and matches them to job openings. Match consultants and assignments based on career goals and client needs.
• Conduct periodic consultant performance appraisals.
• Negotiate salaries of consultants moving from one assignment to the next.
• Package the candidates for presentation to client.
• Coach and counsel candidates as necessary.

• Identify and resolve potential areas of exposure and/or non compliance with state/federal employment laws.
• Provide strategic support, counseling, guidance, and solutions to management within assigned customer groups regarding hiring, performance management and employee relations issues, enforcement of policies and.
• Assist with creating and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state/federal employment laws.
• Conduct research on current HR issues and trends.
• Conduct investigations on employee complaints including violations of sexual harassment policy, EEOC, FLSA, etc. and writes position statement for issues.
• Provide supporting documentation for unemployment claims processing, participating as necessary.

• Review agreements and addendums completing the following processes: Onboarding (including background vendor set up), Assignment Support and Company Profile. Identify and recommend solutions to most effectively meet.
• Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and comprehensive client auditing program for the Strategic Accounts department.
• Manage the risk memo process to identify items listed that Kforce may not be able to comply with and provide alternate recommendations.
• Provide compliance assessments for senior management.
• Facilitate client audits by managing the items needed to bring audited consultants to compliance. Prepare and report the potential compliance risk to the SAE prior to sending the response to the client.
• Identify, create and conduct training needed corporate and field partners based on major areas of non-compliance and to roll out new/updated processes.
