My name is Molebogeng Malemela, I hold a National Diploma (from the University of Johannesburg) and Advanced Diploma (from the Vaal University of Technology) in Chemical Engineering, which provided the foundation in chemical engineering techniques & principles, process control, process and equipment design amongst other things. I am currently in the process of completing my postgraduate diploma qualification in chemical engineering. I have over 3 years of professional experience in water and wastewater treatment plant operations where I was responsible for monitoring the plant, conducting sample testing to ensure process/plant efficiency and ensuring the optimum operating conditions, calibration of the automated monitoring and control systems, maintenance checks and troubleshooting the plant and process equipment, plant/process optimization, basic maintenance and ensuring that the KPIs are met. I bring a unique set of skills and attributes such as excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills, troubleshooting and process optimization, I have the ability to quickly adapt to fast-paced & diverse environments and processes & platforms, which allows me to efficiently tackle complex challenges and deliver innovative solutions. I am eager about continuous improvement and solving complex scientific/technical problems. Additionally, I have 1-year experience in research and laboratory work obtained during my In-service training. I have knowledge of and experience in technologies/techniques such as Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Ultraviolet spectroscopy, zeta potential, material characterization,Electrocoagulation, Ultrafiltration, Reverse Osmosis, DAF, and primary sedimentation. I am highly disciplined with proven leadership skills, with hands-on experience coupled with the growing knowledge gained at school, from previous and current roles.
