Molisa Lau joined iPR Ogilvy & Mather in Hong Kong in 2013, and is responsible for PR event, media relations, investor relations and marketing material production, etc. for a number of listed companies in Hong Kong, as well as initial public offerings. Molisa has extensive experience in the financial media. She understands the media business extremely well as she was a reporter and editor at Hong Kong Economic Times, Ming Pao Daily and Apple Daily, etc. She served for more than a decade at Apple Daily and was the Deputy News Editor of the newspaper. Molisa possesses excellent Chinese writing skill and thorough understanding of the media operation. She interviewed a number of chairmen of listed companies as well as senior management while she was working in the media. Molisa has cultivated an acute sense of financial news, and built a wide network of contacts in business and media. Prior to joining iPR Ogilvy & Mather, Molisa had worked at Trimaran Asia PR Consultant to help to manage a number of large projects and activities such as the promotion of the 17th anniversary celebration of Yung Kee Restaurant, “Global Tourism Economy Forum” held in Macau and the wedding ceremony of Kenneth Fok (霍啟剛) and Guo Jingjing (郭晶晶), etc. At present, her long-term customers include BYD (1211), Country Garden (2007), Jiayuan (2768), Ajisen China (538), Hopson (754), Jinjiang (2006), Sa Sa (178), UMH (2138), Landing (582), Playmates (869) and Yuexiu Property (123), etc. In addition, she has also participated in the communications projects on Yuexiu Group's acquisition of Chong Hing Bank and the listing of such companies as UMH (2138), HONMA (6858), Times Property (1233), Most Kwai Chung (1716), ArtGo Mining (3313), Feishang (8331), Jiyi Household (1495), and Top Dynamic (8327) etc. Molisa is a graduate in Chinese language and literature at Hong Kong Shue Yan University. She is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
