Within my role as Inventory Specialist, my primary focus in maintaining inventory records for more than $40 million of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods. I have created a cycle counting program for our production facility using an ABC method. By documenting consistent count results at 98% accuracy, we have been able to eliminate the need for a full work stop physical inventory. This position requires detailed understanding of the production process, information system, and the ability to perform thorough research to document discrepancies. As part of my inventory responsibilities, I also reconcile inventory of products warehoused at several off site facilities. I also functioned as a label coordinator, working closely with our Regulatory department to update and maintain all preprinted packaging materials to comply with FIFRA and International guidelines. I also initiate reviews with outside Regulatory bodies to review packaging materials for products sub registered to several customers. In recent years, I coordinated the set up, layout, and approvals for all new products in development. I was able to set up standard pricing with our packaging vendors to reduce packaging costs significantly. I have also been involved in several Data Integrity projects that have aimed to clean up and improving the accuracy of the data entered. Part of my role has been to become the key point in entering new product codes and their details into the Ross ERP System. I have also undergone DOT and IATA Hazmat Certification and was responsible to reviewing and maintaining all shipping class information to comply with Federal and International Regulations.
