Formally trained as a Special Educator, I believe in empowering others to find their voice, and reach their fullest, volunteering, and always being a helper. I am passionate about pushing others to reach their highest potential in a safe and supportive way, as well as continuing to learn throughout my life. Additionally, I have a background in direct patient care assisting, medical terminology, and facilitating independence, no matter what that looks like for each individual. I have taught special education at the secondary level from 6th through 12th grade for 13 years, and am excited about the opportunities for career growth and transformation that are in store. My passion is in helping others, and leaving a positive impact regardless of the setting.
