My role consists of expanding upon my creative knowledge surrounding graphic design. I am consistently learning new skills and information in a hands-on approach within this job that is helping me to take the next step in my career path.

My job at Hancock & Wood was working on the shop floor in a customer-based environment. My responsibilities would be working on the till, helping customers, counting and pricing stock, putting out new stock, and some display work. This gave me a great experience in working face to face with customers which improved on my communication skills and problem-solving skills. It also gave me more experience in handling stock and taught me new skills.

My role consisted of observing patients. It was part of my job to ensure the safety of the patients as they were unable to provide the proper care for themselves. These patients suffered brain injuries which made them vulnerable, making it important for me to build professional relationships with the patients to make them feel at ease and ensure they were provided with the help they needed. In this job it was vital for me to communicate with other staff members, stick to a strict schedule and always be attentive.
