Policy Chair of Region 4 (2020-2021) -- I worked closely with medical students in our region to write and review policy and ensured that our members understood the process through which the AMA considers and adopts policies.Vice-Chair of the Committee on Legislation and Advocacy (2020-2021) -- I led the Subcommittee on Legislation and supported various projects to inform our medical student members about legislation and regulation that impacted health care. I also assisted with review of policies related both to legislation and advocacy being brought to the AMA-MSS business meetings and directed a monthly newsletter on health policy.Regional Delegate for the Medical Student Section (MSS; 2020-2021) -- I represent the interests of medical students to the House of Delegates of the AMA and advocate for the medical student perspective on policy being reviewed by the AMA.Medical Student Representative to the Council on Legislation (2021-2022) -- Serve as the medical student member on the AMA Council on Legislation to provide insight and direction on AMA involvement in legislative and regulatory efforts pertaining to health.Prior to my national involvement, I also held a variety of local and regional leadership positions.

In addition, I maintained responsibility for two podcast series on innovations in emergency medicine and clinical practice and planned and facilitated monthly webinar series for emergency health professionals.

Worked in the Department of Health Policy.I drafted literature reviews, policy memos, fact sheets and other project deliverables focused on legal and policy aspects of health reform and public health for a variety of federal agencies, health care foundations, non-profit patient advocacy groups, and health care coalitions.

I managed the Eisendrath Legislative Assistant cohort and assisted with oversight of the legislative advocacy agenda, including strategy, policy memos and communications for immigration reform and gun violence prevention campaigns. I also directed the Reform Jewish Voice of New York State advocacy organization, including communications, policy materials, social media and website and coordinated an annual advocacy day at the state capitol.

I coordinated and developed conferences for over 1,500 high school students in Washington, D.C., California, New York and Ohio, in addition to managing 25 nationally renowned non-profit, government and business leaders to speak at the Consultation on Conscience public policy conference. I served as the sole staff member for Reform Jewish Voice of New York State (see above, as well as the liaison with the North American Federation of Temple Youth and 16 URJ summer camps.
