As a Senior Campus Recruiter, I own the recruiting process for early talent candidates in the Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, Cell Engineering, Motors, Robotics, and Firmware spaces. In addition, I assist in the planning and execution of our summer internship program, manage relationships with identified universities around the country, and drive the strategy for early talent engagement.

As TriMark Digital's first recruiting hire, I am working closely with company leadership to develop recruiting processes, manage the early talent and internship programs, develop partnerships with local universities, and source/ recruit the best talent in digital marketing.

The Shuford Program is a minor in Entrepreneurship housed in the College of Arts & Sciences. In this position, I: Manage a caseload of over 600 undergraduate entrepreneurship minors. Advise students on topics related to the internship and job search process, interviewing, resume building, and cover letter writing, among other things. Build and maintain relationships with partner work sites around the country, including large corporations, start-ups, co-working spaces, and nonprofit organizations. Oversee summer programming events for interns in New York City, California, and the Raleigh/Durham area. Develop and implement a career development curriculum for the minor. Create a program-wide policy regarding internship requirements and the funding process. Drive the development of the program’s website and outreach strategy.

The Karen M. Gil Internship Program offers undergraduate Psychology and Neuroscience majors an opportunity to deepen their understanding of psychology and develop professional skills. The Gil Internship Program places students at a work site in the Chapel Hill/Durham/Raleigh area, offers a monthly stipend, and a 3 hour course credit towards the Psychology major. I managed all aspects of the Gil Internship for undergraduate students in the department of Psychology and Neuroscience. Some of my responsibilities included: -Co-facilitate the weekly seminar for current interns, including developing career and professional development exercises -Advise students regarding the internship placement process, career paths, and psychology-related topics-Develop and manage the program budget-Establish and implement policies and procedures over site selection, position documentation, student application/ selection/ advising, site/student performance evaluation, and program record keeping-Formulate and execute a marketing strategy for the program-Plan and execute events for interns and site sponsors each semester-Evaluate the program performance and growth each semester, and create the measures to obtain this information from interns and program alumni-Drive the alumni outreach efforts via email marketing campaigns, social media, and newsletters-Identify potential internship sponsors and sites -Manage all aspects of the student internship application process

Responsibilities included: Youth development program planning and evaluation. Supervision, training, and hiring of part-time staff and volunteers. Ensuring the safety of over 100 children daily. Development of community partnerships. Manage marketing of programs, club, and events through social media and internal postings. Collaborate with other youth development professionals across Wake County.
