When starting my career in office administration, I started in the auto finance industry, where I learned about running credit, doing verifications and data entry. After moving out of Omaha into a small town, I decided I would try out the new role of High School Secretary while my children were in Elementary. After having one summer off, I decided that wasn't for me.Needing steady, reliable income, I found a sales position only 15 minutes from home. After 3 months of doing outbound Business Development, I was promted to sending out the contracts to clients who wanted to consign their items on auction. After 2 years of contracts while still maintaining business development, I was promoted to take charge of all company statistics for each Sales Representative. 2 years after, I was promted to Vice President of Administration. This role has given me an immense amount of experience in leadership, strategic planning, and team management which I have utilized to drive growth, enhance productivity and profitability of the company, all while implementing our new CRM and VoIP system!
