I am a fourth year Biochemistry BSc student at the University of Guelph, with a passion for research, specifically in the context of human health and disease. My 6+ years of running a successful small bakery business has allowed me to gain essential leadership and organization skills. These opportunities have also allowed me to gain knowledge in aspects of finance and planning. I enjoy using communication and compassion skills by volunteering at Victorian Order of Nurses, through aiding patients with Alzheimers and Dementia. These opportunities have taught me a variety of invaluable communication skills and determination that can be utilized in all aspects of my future.
