My role is to work within a fast paced environment and deliver excellent customer service to all guests. Balancing tasks such as taking orders, running food/drinks and clearing tables. I also have a duty to continually expand my knowledge of the menu to provide recommendations for guests.

As part of my University Degree I completed a 19 week clinical placement within NHS talking therapies as a trainee PWP. During this time I conducted assessments on clients accessing NHS talking therapies and made important decisions around their care plan. It was my job to ensure all client care is patient-centred and I formed good rapport with my clients. I also supported clients whilst using the computerised CBT programme Silver Cloud by providing telephone and online reviews. As part of my role it was essential that i kept precise and clear notes during assessments and treatments sessions and documented all contacts with clients meticulously using the platform IAPTus. My role also involved sending and receiving correspondence from other mental health services and included making onward referrals to services such as DHI or PCLS. Show less

As a recreational assistant I provided assistance by setting up and taking down sporting equipment across the University sports park. I completed a list of cleaning tasks each day and conducted regular checks around the sports park whilst providing assistance to customers using the facilities. This included continually paying attention to details and ensuring all breakfast items were topped up at all times in the breakfast buffets. I provided excellent customer service to all guests in order to make their visit the highest standard possible. Each shift I would be allocated a section of the restaurant to be responsible for including between 5 and 8 tables. I was in charge of taking orders, running food and providing drinks to each of the tables and balancing my attention across the tables.
