    Phd Candidate/ Graduate Research Assistant
University Of Central Florida Aug 2012 - May 2017
My dissertation work focused on road ecology. I investigated the effect that traffic noise has on amphibian abundance, growth and behavior. As a graduate research assistant, I also designed and executed a project in Big Cypress National Preserve evaluating the effectiveness of a Roadside Animal Detection System (RADS), a system that could help reduce Florida panther mortality. The RADS project involved both simulated and field components. I have also analyzed data and produced reports for a wildlife impact study of the proposed widening of State Road 40 in Ocala National Forest.
