I am a recently graduated student of the University of Guelph, with a passion for all things tiny. Through my major in Nanoscience and minor in Physics, I've earned considerable insight into current scientific research and a great respect for the creative, dedicated people behind it. I've worked on a number of projects over the last several years, including ones involving the biophysics of antibacterials, nanomaterials used to increase solar cell efficiency, and particles designed to photoelectrochemically clean up the environment. Due to these experiences, and the influence of several inspirational professors, I hope to use my fascination with nanomaterials synthesis and characterization to contribute to the fields of nanophotonics, semiconductor microfabrication, or alternative energy technology.
