My long-term goal has been to facilitate development and growth for children through unique educational experiences. I have experience working with youth at the University of Wisconsin-Stout Child Care facility, Rahn Elementary School in Burnsville, and Junior Cheer Programs for the Minnesota Vikings Organization. These opportunities served as a foundation for my leadership abilities and enhanced my ability to develop and conduct lesson plans, organize, assess children’s developmental progress, and communicate effectively with children and parents. These opportunities also exposed me to various family dynamics and cultures. I pride myself on having an upbeat, energetic, and “can do” attitude when conquering tasks. These are especially important characteristics to model when working with energetic children, and I would hope to apply these skills to an internship.
