After years of different roles within the arts and arts education systems, I am passionate about all things visual storytelling, whether that is film, theater, comic books, etc. Arts, at their core, are meant to entertain but also to engage, challenge, heal, and question the status quo. Having taken on multiple roles within the arts industry -- ranging anywhere from recruitment to administration to program development and management -- my work is always tied to uplifting new voices and lived experiences through art. Art, arts education, and social justice work feel intricately tied, and I am thrilled to continue that work in any way possible.Art allows us to see the work anew and imagine a future unknown, and I hope to be a part of that creative journey and bring as many voices to that table. Or build a new table entirely.
