The Roof Crop, comprised of urban rooftop farms and farmers in Chicago, grows and sells fresh, hyper-local, naturally nutrient-dense food, provides quality and long-term ‘farmland’, and creates custom urban farming experiences and programs for chefs, brewmasters, mixologists, foodies, building communities, and anyone-who-eats.

Conservation Technology in Baltimore is a distributor of Optigreen products and many other green building materials. Molly worked as the Green Roof Product Manager at Conservation Technology, after working for Optigreen and their contractors in Germany.

The Robert Bosch Fellowship sponsors 20 Americans to work in their individual areas of expertise in Germany each year. Molly worked in the vegetated green roofing industry in Germany. She first worked on a research project in Berlin in which she jumped from rooftop to rooftop to analyze the quality and maintenance of existing green roofs. Later, she worked for a green roof contractor on the job site installing green roofs. Finally, she worked at Optigreen (www.optigreen.com), the world's largest supplier of green roofing materials, where she developed a computer program analyzing wind uplift on green roofs and contributing to sales and marketing efforts in their English-speaking markets.
