As an Intern at the National Immigrant Women’s Project, I take calls from immigrant survivors of domestic violence and other crimes and help connect them to victims advocates, law firms, VAWA resources and public benefits by state. I am also working on translating know-your-rights brochures into 18+ languages. One of these brochures, which I am updating and translating, is highly popular resource for immigrants and immigration law firms: Power and Control Tactics Used Against Immigrant Women.

I offer tutoring services to middle school through high school students with english as a second language, or any other struggles within the subject. This includes zoom or in person meetings, coordination with parents and student, curriculum planning, home work evaluation, goal setting and fulfillment, etc.

Early childhood educator who works in diverse teaching teams with a diverse student population. Many years experience with children with special needs. Requires flexibility, communication, curriculum planning, and frequent parent (client) interaction.

General laborer and employee of set/event design and set up. This job includes long hours from event set up, through event management, to event tear down. The SHAW Bar is a Black woman-owned health foods bar in downtown Stockton. The owner's mission is to provide affordable healthy food and educate the Stockton community on healthy eating. My responsibilities as a part-time, short-term employee included: Shopping, meal prepping, deep cleaning, cashiering, and dishwashing. I also made smoothies, energy drinks, and breakfast and lunch meals during store hours.

Working in the relatively new DEI branch of student government at my university as an Engagement Coordinator, my job was to keep a pulse on students' understanding of DEI and how it can be used at the university level to support their needs. I worked with several culturally specific clubs and other student groups on campus to create events, forums, and other DEI materials that might suit their needs for community, academic support, etc.
