Current: I’m a writer, editor, and strategist with 20 years of experience in design and publishing. I use storytelling to advance the culture and business of architecture focused on strengthening communities and addressing the climate crisis. I helped grow WRNS Studio from a 20-person start-up in 2005 to the nationally-recognized, 200-person firm it is today.As our editorial lead, I develop and implement comprehensive communications plans to promote, enhance, and protect the firm’s reputation and maintain its soul amidst continued growth. These strategic initiatives have helped WRNS Studio land its most transformational projects, cultivate long-term relationships, and attract and retain top talent.Related: Prior to joining the AEC industry, I wrote and edited at various literary and cultural publications. For me, writing is about curiosity, iteration, comfort with discomfort, and that feeling of exhilaration when an idea takes flight. At the center of it all is audience. Who’s reading this and why do they care? How might these words inspire dialogue? While interviewing artists, writing book reviews, and exploring topics ranging from religion to pop culture, I developed an authentic voice to connect with my audience.
