Wrote a white paper on the Supplement Nutrition Assistance Program student exclusion policy that involved literature and state policy reviews and analyses of ACS PUMS data in Excel. Assisted with analysis of hospital merger assessments, Medicaid spending trends, and Medicaid COVID-19 emergency waivers and state plan amendments.

Facilitate weekly discussion sessions for the class Health Care in America. Sessions are focused on answering questions from lecture and engaging in discussions about the health care industry.

Worked in combination with the Somerville Community Health Agenda and the Somerville Food Security Coalition to try to understand how people in the community who need food resources find out what is available to them. Conducted informational interviews with community stakeholders to create a mind map of the informational pathways and connections in the community. The final aim was to identify unmet needs or gaps in the provision of food resource information to recommend to the Coalition, aligned with an assessment action item area in the Somerville Food System Assessment.

Worked with the Population Health Improvement Program (PHIP), Adirondack Rural Health Network (ARHN), and Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) Program departments. Projects included sourcing guides of health, social, and community resources for three counties, examining health trend and changing social determinants data, and coordinating Summit event administrative duties including sponsor communication, social media, and event materials.

Conducted legislative research on a multitude of issues, including domestic violence, nurse-patient ratios, wind turbines, community health centers, e-prescriptions to assist the Research Analyst in informing the committee. Reported findings from meetings, on topics like climate change and marijuana, and the impact on public health to update the committee.

Created a codebook to make qualitative information easily enter-able and accessible for a project assessing an educational intervention on methamphetamine and prescription medications. Inputted approximately 1400 surveys into excel to be analyzed and organized the paper surveys to be available if needed.
