Vitae The beginning of my true professional experience began with the Teachers Federal Credit Union where I worked as a Human Resources Assistant. During this experience I was able to learn interviewing techniques, conduct new hire orientations, and practice the completion of various personnel documents such as FMLA, Workers Compensation, and other Health Benefit forms. I additionally became familiar with utilizing the HRIS system, tracking employee attendance, and learning all aspects of laws pertaining to employee and employer rights. As my career progressed, I developed an interest in educational leadership. While attending St. John’s University, my knowledge grew during hands-on experiences while participating in three phases of administrative internships. In the classroom, my students excelled in both reading and math. My students furthermore achieved the highest math state exam outcomes and gains in the school every year I taught. After working as a classroom teacher, I obtained a position as the Director of Human Resources and Implementation for 11 daycare centers throughout NYC. My responsibilities encompassed identifying violations related to fire safety, DOH, and Article 81 regulations. I represented the company in court, and directly managed the maintenance staff. The education component included evaluating teachers, lesson plans, and curricula implementation. Currently, I would like to express my interest in obtaining a leadership position with a stable company working in the area of Human Resources.
