For two and a half years, I led the Hasso-Plattner-Institut's Advanced human-centered design and innovation program for multidisciplinary students. In addition to teaching, mentoring, and program strategy work, I led a team of faculty and managed design projects with industry partners such as SAP, Deutsche Bahn, VW, and Bosch.

We're a boutique UX agency. We help companies solve gnarly, complex interaction problems – and figure out what problems their products should solve. Basically, we make hard stuff look and feel sensible, simple, and smooth. As a core UX designer at a 7-person agency, I do everything: research, design, prototyping, usability testing, and client facilitation.

I teach classes to grad students (Design Thinking Bootcamp, Innovations in Education). I lead workshops for educators and education-friendly folks (Teach For America, Citizen Schools, and others). I brainstorm with ed-techies. I write stuff. I do curriculum strategy and development, keeping us on the bleeding edge of innovation education.

I'm creating the first online experience for Project Breaker, a social entrepreneurship program for youth ages 18-24. Our challenge this year is to design the future of stuff - the way we manufacture and distribute the goods in our lives is changing fast.

As designer in residence, supported user experience design students throughout a 16-week course. Held office hours, graded student work, and delivered lectures on UX best practices.

Taught World History I, World History II, and United States History at the college preparatory level, with heavy emphasis on writing instruction.

Consulted on university-wide digital initiatives and helped enhance course website design. Ported a series of multimedia websites to Drupal. Designed and coded websites designed to bring Harvard lectures to a wider audience. Designed group logo and other branding. Worked as a production assistant on video shoots. (Yes, this is the same description as below. The title changed, but the job didn't.)
