▪ Initiated and co-led a merger of 3 adolescent sexual health nonprofit organizations into Healthy Futures of Texas.▪ Expanded organizational lens to address systemic racism and social determinants of health leading to disparities in sexual health outcomes among Hispanic and Black youth, youth experiencing poverty, youth in rural communities, and youth in the child welfare system.▪ More than tripled annual budget from $400k to $1.4m and reported to Board of Directors.▪ Updated organizational policies and procedures, including paid parental leave, improved budgeting process, technology improvements, and tracking metrics on program and operational effectiveness.▪ Directed and executed strategies in research, advocacy, collaboration and training, including: o Increased access to sexual health information for 5.4m Texas K-12 students through Texas Is Ready advocacy coalition to improve the state’s minimum health education standards. o Certified 16 Texas health clinics as ‘Adolescent Centered Environments’ through the Texas Youth Friendly Initiative, a quality improvement project to increase teens’ access to healthcare. o Developed customized health education interventions for youth and caregivers in the childwelfare system through the Texas Foster Youth Health Initiative, growing efforts to improveaccess to sexual health resources in Dallas, San Antonio, Houston, and the Rio Grande Valley.▪ Led fundraising efforts resulting in $6.3m in revenue over 5 years, including: o $2.2m (over 3 yrs.) federal grant subaward for statewide Texas Foster Youth Health Initiative o $1.7m (over 6 years) foundation grant for clinical improvement, advocacy, and capacity building o $300k in foundation grants and individual contributions for school-based sex ed advocacy o $800k in foundation grants to support merger and integration efforts▪ Coached and developed 9 staff members.

▪ Facilitated strategic planning and provided training and technical assistance to 70+ local United Ways.

▪ Managed over $750k+ in initiatives focused on education, financial stability and disaster recovery.

▪Managed summer exchange program for 850+ Japanese/Korean youth and chaperones staying with 4-H families across the U.S. and Canada. ▪Planned an annual conference for 60-80 staff and overseas partner representatives and served as liaison between the U.S.-based coordinators & partners in Japan and Korea.

▪Managed payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliation, tax preparation and administrative support for a commercial roofing company.
