For my Senior thesis at SUNY Polytechnic, I started my own retail customization firm that is thriving through today internationally within 17 countries. Developing a strong interest in both business and intellectual property, I then began my graduate education with the Dean's Excellence Full Tuition Scholarship at Barry University School of Law. As my interest in Intellectual Property expanded, I transferred to Syracuse University College of Law to work and study with the world-renowned New York Science & Technology Law Center. At this law center, I work with clients and start-ups with novel ideas and devices to research and develop patentability landscapes. I also supported the Intellectual Property Legal Team at the Forbes 50 company Aetna through integration with CVS Health. From there, I started my second company, Funding Ninja, with Co-Founder Nick Edwards. I'm currently a Director of Proposals at Funding Ninja, working with our employees on sourcing, writing and managing grant awards on the local, state, Federal and corporate levels.
