- Responsible for all aspects of the Minneapolis Diabetes EXPO which is attended by approximately 8,000 to 10,000 participants and 75-95 exhibitors annually. The Minneapolis Diabetes EXPO is recognized as the model for the American Diabetes Association nationwide. Event planning for Diabetes EXPO includes marketing/communication, logistics, program/content development, volunteer management, event communication materials for participants, exhibitors, volunteers and other key stakeholders, - Coordinated and managed the Minnesota Area Gala including site selection, annual event theme, event orders, event registrations, corporate sponsorships, hotel room blocks, program content development, event execution and volunteer management. The Gala raises approximately $220,000 annually with over 350 attendees. - Coordinate and facilitate a Healthcare Professional Breakfast with continuing education credits for approximately 100 attendees.- Responsible for all logistics coordination, execution, sponsorship procurement, grant writing, marketing/communications and volunteer management for the Gala, Diabetes EXPO and Healthcare Professional Breakfast.- Participated as a key stakeholder in RFP process, interviews and selection of numerous vendors. - Secure sponsorship for multiple Diabetes EXPO markets resulting in greater exposure and additional funds raised for the ADA nationally. - Developed Annual Support proposal and secured sponsor relationships for Minnesota Area office ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 resulting in an additional $305,000 in funding or product donations.

- Coordinated/managed the Minnesota Area Gala and Diabetes EXPO.- Developed and implemented Healthcare Professional Breakfast including sponsorship resulting increased healthcare professional involvement in the Diabetes Expo and $28,000 in additional annual funds raised.- Responsible for all grant writing, marketing, communications, logistics, volunteer recruitment and management for the Gala and Diabetes EXPO.
