Whilst in the team I led on the development of the Understanding the Language of Work programme, in partnership with the DWP and the European Social Fund.• Community Development: Supporting public engagement and local assemblies. Whilst in the team I conducted a review of voluntary and community sector organisations working in Lewisham, undertaking a needs analysis exercise to understand how the Council could best support the sector through changes to local and central government funding. • Housing Matters: Undertook a borough-wide programme of consultation to support new housing supply and the delivery of Decent Homes improvements to existing housing stock. Worked closely in partnership with Lewisham’s housing management ALMO, Lewisham Homes. Whilst working on the project my responsibilities included stakeholder engagement, public consultation and feasibility studies for estate investment. As part of the team, I also worked on Lewisham’s new build housing programme, successfully attaining GLA funding for the redesign of extra-care housing.
