A passion for education has been a through-line in my life since I was little and this field has allowed me to continue that devotion. E-Learning development provides me with the opportunity to utilize my skills and creativity to build custom courses that engage learners and allows them to grow personally and professionally in their own way and at their own pace.My e-Learning journey began several years ago when I was working in association management. As education coordinator, I was tasked with developing online courses for learners in the healthcare field. I had never done this before, but as a life-long learner, I was eager for the challenge. That’s all it took and I found that not only did I enjoy creating this type of educational content, but I had a talent for it as well. When I left association management, I took the excitement of constructing e-Learning and the passion of education and service to others with me and decided to become a freelancer. Thus, Somerville e-Learning was established.I have created a number of online courses for healthcare associations. My process is very collaborative – I enjoy brainstorming to come up with experiences that fit the needs for each organization and their learners. I am a life-long learner myself and am continuously pursuing the best avenues to bring learners interactive and engaging content.
